This adorable 5 year old poodle is about 22 pounds and was relinquished by an owner for personal reasons to a high kill shelter in NYC. We laugh and say that he heard everyone else from Manhattan was moving to Connecticut so he wanted to do the same! He's got a wonderful, sweet, quiet personality but he must be placed with an experienced dog owner who is use to dealing alpha personalities. He will thrive in a one-dog, one pet, no children family. Jake must also take medication for heart disease for the rest of his life. He has been fully vetted and seen by a cardiologist, who made the call.
